Utah Captive Insurance Association’s (UCIA) Mission Statement

The UCIA Association is a not-for-profit Association. The UCIA seeks to promote all alternative market mechanisms and services both in the United States and internationally and to increase the visibility of Utah as a center and domicile for alternative risk financing entities, activities and facilities.

The objective of the UCIA is to provide information and education to Members of record and others interested in the concept of alternative risk financing for existing risks not adequately served by the commercial insurance industry.  

Participating in the UCIA will give you an edge in the captive insurance industry. You will be able to participate in webinars, meetings with state legislators, receive updates on captive insurance legislation, receive discounts to conferences, and let your voice be heard concerning the industry in Utah.
